Volunteer with Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest

Lavender Laughs is proud to support BWICLF by training and managing essential volunteers for the shows February 25 – March 1, 2026 in New York City. You can learn more about the festival on their website.

As a volunteer, you may be helping with:

– Selling merch for BWICLF and/or a partner organization

– Setting up and closing down BWICLF banners

– Checking tickets and seating audience members

– Communicating with show producers and venue managers to help as needed

– Taking photos to help boost BWICLF social media

An important part of volunteering is preparation, so we will host a mandatory virtual training session for all volunteers in early February. If you have never volunteered with a comedy festival, now is your chance!
